Cooking Class - The Secret of Making Peking Duck

Register online and pay your deposit of $30 per person for class here. The balance of $90 will be paid by you with cash or check on the day of your class! The Secret of Making Peking Duck class fee is $120 per person.

In this phenomenal three hour hands-on class, students will learn how to make Chef Joseph Poon's famous Peking Duck, along with pancakes for wrapping the delicacy, and the scallion flower used for garnishing. The class includes a trip to the Asian Grocery Store and a Peking Duck house. Chef Poon, sometimes dubbed the "Duckmaster", opened Sang Kee, Philadelphia's first Duck house in 1979.

Students receive a full meal including Peking Duck Salad. Appetizers: Peking Duck Foie Gras with Cilantro, Scallion Bread in Tangy, Chili Soy Sauce, Peking Duck Polenta and Peking Duck Sushi. Entrees: Roast Duck with Lemon Pepper linguini and Asian Fusion Rice followed by Ginger Carrot Cake with Fresh Fruit and Green Tea.

10 students accepted per class.
